Black-bone chicken

2025-10-22

Tahe Wujiji, renowned as the "White Phoenix Fairy," has a breeding history spanning over 2,200 years. Not only was it an imperial tribute throughout the ages, but it also earned a gold medal at the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition.

These black-bone chickens originate from the northern foothills of Wushan Mountain in Taihe County, Jiangxi Province, a region where forest coverage exceeds 60%. With an average annual temperature of 18.6°C and abundant rainfall, the area enjoys a typical subtropical humid monsoon climate—perfect conditions for the chickens to thrive and move freely, ensuring they receive ample nutrition and resulting in meat that is firm, resilient, and exceptionally flavorful.
