Truben Scientific Research Center Participates in Drafting the Group Standard for Pet Cleaning and Deodorizing Spray

The Truben Science and Research Center, recognized for its outstanding achievements in the field of microbial technology, has been invited by the All-China Federation of Urban Industry and Trade Centers to participate in the development of the T/QGCML4418—2024 group standard for functional pet cleaning and deodorizing sprays.
During this meeting, the Truben Research Center made an important addition to the original standard:
1. Change the microbial indicator in the standard from total colony count to total aerobic colony count;
2. Adjust the pH range of the deodorant down to as low as 2;
3. Added heavy metal testing items;
4. Added indicators for toxic and harmful gases such as ammonia and hydrogen sulfide;
5. Introduce an important indicator—acute oral non-toxicity.
Through the above standard adjustments, not only are pets provided with greater safety and security, but pet-owning families are also offered more trustworthy products, helping to create a healthy home ecosystem that aligns perfectly with Truben’s founding philosophy.
Through the active participation of the Truben Research Center, Truben has demonstrated its strong sense of responsibility and mission toward industry development. We believe that, with the joint efforts of all enterprises, this group standard will propel the functional pet cleaning and deodorizing spray industry into a new phase of more standardized, high-quality growth—creating a healthier and more comfortable living environment for both pets and their owners.
